How to Apply? Step-by-Step Instructions
- Patch test: Test a small drop of the peel on your inner arm or jawline or lower neck, wait for few minutes before your full face application to check for severe reactions. If severe Reaction or Redness or excessive burning stop the procedure. Mild redness and tingling is normal.
- Cleanse: Wash your face with a gentle, soap-free cleanser and pat dry.
- Protect sensitive areas: Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly around your eyes, the corners of your nose, and your lips.
- Apply the peel :Use a fan brush or gauze pad to quickly and evenly apply Peeling solution across your face, staying away from immediate eye areas and mucous membranes.
- Time it: Leave the peel on skin as per suggested time limit. A mild tingling or warmth is normal, but if it burns severely, rinse immediately.
- Neutralize and rinse: Follow your specific product instructions—some require a neutralizing solution or baking-soda mixture, while others rinse off thoroughly with cool water.
- Moisturize & Sun Protection: Pat your skin dry gently and apply a generous, soothing moisturizer and followed by Sun Protector.
- FOR LAYERING APPLICATION: Peeling Solutions like Jessner’s Peel & Black Peel , you can perform Layering Application. Where after 1st round of Peeling application wait for 1-2 minute and apply second coat on it. (Caution- more number of Layer , more intensity of depth and peeling)
- Avoid strong actives: Stop using retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, and physical scrubs 3 to 5 days before/after Peels.
